3 Select the connected ventilator (Servo-i/Servo-s/SV-900).
N O T E
If other function is already assigned to the COM port, it is necessary to
disconnect the communication in order to change the selection.
W A R N I N G
If [OFF] is selected, the ventilator message will not be displayed and
ventilator alarm sound will not be generated. Make sure the correct setting
is made.
4 Make sure that ventilator alarm is not generated and ventilator status on the window is
(green).
C A U T I O N
If the ventilator status display is not
(green), the ventilator alarm will
not be notified even when the alarm condition generates.
5 Start the ventilator monitoring.
C A U T I O N
Check occasionally the communication status of this unit and the ventilator.
Verify that a ventilator alarm is not generated and that the ventilator status
display is
(green).
Ventilator Alarm Setup
Set the following items for the ventilator alarm.

Ventilator Alarm ON/OFF

Alarm Judgment Time
1 Select
the (Main Menu) icon > “Initial Setup” > “VENT Setup” > “VENT Alarm”.
2 Select [ON]/[OFF] for “VENT Alarm”.
[ON]
: The DSL-8001 will notify the ventilator alarm.
[OFF] : The DSL-8001 will not notify the ventilator alarm even if it is generated on the ventilator.
However, ventilator alarm information is transmitted to the central monitor.
W A R N I N G
When [OFF] is selected, the “Vent. Alarm” will not be displayed in the alarm
message area even if the ventilator alarm is generated.
