Ventilator
The <Vent. Alarm> message is displayed.
Cause : The following alarm has generated on the ventilator.
・
Parameter alarm such as AWP, MV, FiO

・
Technical alarm such as cable disconnected condition.
Solution : Check the alarm cause of the ventilator, and take appropriate action.
The <Vent. Invalid> message is displayed.
Cause : Communication error has occurred due to the following cause.
・
The power of the ventilator is turned OFF.
・
The cable connecting the ventilator and DSL-8001 system is disconnected, or not
securely connected.
Solution : Check the alarm cause of the ventilator, and take appropriate action.
The <Vent. Disable> message is displayed.
Cause : [OFF] is set for “VENT Alarm” (“Initial Setup” > “VENT Setup”).
Solution : Set [ON] for “VENT Alarm” (“Initial Setup” > “VENT Setup”).
Printer (For DSL-8001R only)
No printing is performed. The <Paper Out> message is displayed.
Cause : There is no recording paper.
Solution : Install a new roll of paper into the paper cassette.
The <No Printer Installed> message is displayed.
Cause : [Built-in] is set for the “Output Printer” although the DSL-8001 is not equipped with a
built-in printer.
Solution : Select [Center] for the “Output Printer” of “Manual Printing”, “Alarm Printing”, “Periodic
Printing”.
For manual printing, press the (Menu) key, select “Printing Setup” > “Manual Printing
Setup”, and select [Center] for “Output Printer”.
For alarm printing, press the (Menu) key, select “Printing Setup” > “Alarm Printing
Setup”, and select [Center] for “Output Printer”.
For periodic printing, press the (Menu) key, select “Printing Setup” > “Periodic Printing
Setup”, and select [Center] for “Output Printer”.
The <Printer Communication Error> message is displayed.
Cause : Communication error with the recorder board has occurred.
Solution : Reboot the equipment. If the same message is repeatedly displayed, a failure of the
equipment can be considered. Contact our service representative.
TCON (For USA only)
There is a communication error with the central monitor. The <TCON Check Reception>
message is displayed.
Cause 1 : The unit is too far away from the central monitor.
Solution : Readjust the location so that TCON status shows 3 antenna marks
.
Cause 2 : The setup is incorrect.
Solution : Make sure that the TCON channel is the same with the central monitor.
The <TCON Check Connection> message is displayed.
Cause : TCON is not communicating with the monitor.
Solution : Check the connection between the TCON and monitor.
