Software Upgrade

This section describes the software upgrade procedure.
DSL-8001 is upgraded using a USB memory with the program installed inside it.

To Upgrade the DSL-8001 Main Unit

1. Turn OFF the power.
2. Insert the USB memory into the external memory connector (USB port) on the left side of the

equipment.

Open the external memory
connector cover to access
the USB port.

3. Turn ON the power while pressing the Menu key to start the DSL-8001.

When the install window as shown in the left is
displayed,

(1) Press the [Menu] key to change the "USB

Upgrade Section:" set up to "Main Section".

(2) Press the [Jog Dial] to start the installation.

When 100% is displayed for "Read", "Erase", and

"Write", and <Please Restart...> is indicated, the
installation is completed.

* The following can be considered if the installation

is not performed. Check the USB.

Installation file does not exist in the USB
memory.

・

Specified USB memory is not used.
