Replacement of the Battery
●
Usable Life of the Battery
y The battery can be continually used for more than 300 times (or about 1 year) under normal
temperature, but the continuous use will degrade the battery and shorten the usable time.
y When the battery operation time is significantly short even after it is fully charged, the battery
needs to be replaced.
y Charge the battery well in advance for the next use when the battery level is weak.
y The battery should be charged at room temperature (10 to 30
°
C).
y When using the battery for the first time or after it has not been used, make sure to charge the
battery before use by connecting the power supply cable.

How to Replace the Battery
1. As shown in the picture below, remove the screw on the rear of the DSL-8001 and then
remove the battery cover.

2. Pull the lever of the battery in the direction of the arrow and remove the battery.

3. Insert a new battery into the DSL-8001 until a click sound is heard.
4. Secure the battery cover to the DSL-8001 with the screw.
This completes the replacement of the battery
