Rotary Switch Setup
The rotary switch is located inside the maintenance cover on the side of the unit.

Set up when adjusting analog for factory shipment, adjusting
analog after replacing the board at service division, or using the
function for development evaluation.

C Used for factory adjustment

E For EEPROM writing
F Initialize internal setup to factory default setup.
Normally, set the rotary switch to "0".
2. To perform demonstration, press [Demo Start] key from the test menu.
The password “11111111” is necessary to enter the test menu.
7: This mode will be set when adjusting analog for factory shipment, adjusting analog after replacing the
board at service division, or using the function for development evaluation.
In an environment where no adjustment document/facility is available, changing the setting of the
factory shipping adjustment may result in unusable state.
You may be unable to use DSC-8400.
Set this setup when you write equipment information in EEPROM.
F: When the power is turned ON with this mode, the user settings will be initialized.
