Troubleshooting
This chapter describes the status and problem reporting features of the ETERNUS CS800
as well as problems you might encounter during setup and operation of the system.
Corrective information is provided to help you resolve these problems.

ETERNUS CS800 Status and Problem Reporting
To maintain system health and help you identify and correct problems that occur, the
ETERNUS CS800 constantly performs the following actions:
●
Monitors the system software and hardware components.
●
Detects system problems.
●
Attempts to isolate each problem to a specific field replaceable component.
●
Attempts to recover from the problem.
●
Logs the problem.
●
If the problem requires service, the system reports the problem in a service ticket
associated with the field replaceable component.
