Is sub scanning unit grip normal?
Check that grip roller is parallel.

Refer to "4. Inspecting, Replacing, Adjusting Parts" and check.

Is SD1 normal?
Place unwanted film on SD1, and
check at [Sensor Monitoring] of
[Check Mechanism] of M-Utility.

Are cables to sensor normal?
Check connector connection, cable
conduction, and connector pins.
Check again.
Repair or replace.

Replace in the
following order.
• SD1
• SCN11A board
• SNS11A board

Convey several films and
check conveyance state.
Power OFF

Is MD2 normal?
Check at [Grip] of [Check Mechanism]
of M-Utility.

Replace DRV11A
board.
Repair or replace.
Check the following items,
and replace and adjust parts
as required.
• Attaching position of cam
• Grip spring

Is grip mechanism of sub scanning unit
normal?
Rotate MD2 cam with hand, and check
that grip roller moves up and down
smoothly.
Replace MD2.
Y

Is motor normal?
Measure resistance between the
connector terminals.
Is resistance other than 0
Ω
and
∞Ω

Are cables normal?
Check connector connection, cable
conduction, and connector pins.

Is MC1 normal?
Check at [Motor Operation] of
[Check Mechanism] of M-Utility.

Replace DRV11A
board.
Repair or replace.
Check the following items,
and then replace and adjust
parts as required.
• Attaching state of drive gear,
damage, and wear.
• Belts and belt tension.

Is drive system mechanism of
before-sub-scanning conveyor normal?
Rotate MC1 drive gear with hand, and
check that roller rotates smoothly.
Replace MC1.
Y

Is motor normal?
Replace with same motor and check.
Or perform pulse motor inspection.
Refer to "3.5 Troubleshooting Reference".

Are cables normal?
Check connector connection, cable
conduction, and connector pins.

Is transport unit grip normal?
Check that clearance is 0.5 mm at
[Grip] of [Check Mechanism] of
M-Utility.

Adjust home position.
