7.3.2 Adjust paper transport guides
• Loosen locking screws on both sides.
• Swing transport roller brace into its open
position and place a sample sheet of paper
on the machine.
• Position the paper stop about 1 mm from
the bottom edge of the page.
• Tighten locking screws to lock paper stop
into position.
• Remove sample sheet.
Adjust deflector position:
• Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw on
the deflector.
• Move the deflector to a position that safely
guides the paper.
• Retighten deflector screw.
• Adjust the other deflector in the same
manner.
One of the deflectors should always be
positioned directly in front of the paper stop,
as shown in the picture.
The KS 4000 OLC inserting system can also
be configured with a sequencer and delivery
device in place of the lateral conveyor.
