Trouble-shooting tips – Folder
• Turn online-feeder (cutter or single-sheet
feeder) power switch OFF and then turn
back ON.
The Black Box signal button will blink.
The folding device folding pocket will move to
its “zero” or starting position. The folder’s sig-
nal button will blink until the folding pocket
reaches this position.
•
Now
(and not before!) open the folding
pocket: Use both hands to simultaneously
press the two black buttons and hold them
pressed until the folding pocket has
reached its upper position and
automatically stops.
Releasing the two buttons stops the folding
pocket drive motors. The next time the but-
tons are pressed, the pocket will move in the
opposite direction. Whenever the buttons are
pressed, the folding pocket will always move
in the direction opposite to the last time the
buttons were pressed.
Warning! Danger of injury!
Turn OFF and
disconnect the power supply cord before
opening the folding pocket.
• Turn power switch on the feeder device
OFF and disconnect the power supply
cord.
• Unscrew the knurled nuts on the folding
pocket cover.
• Carefully tilt the folding pocket cover
forward and remove. A hanger is provided
to support the folding pocket while you
remove jammed paper.
