Please read the „Instruction Manual Inserting
System 4000 “ and the „Operating
Instructions Automatic Forms Cutter“ for
instructions on changing a program or
creating a program for a new job.
• Press the
button on the control
panel.
The automatic cutter will position the
continuous-feed paper for the first cut.
If a
program for optical marks reading
is
selected, the lower display will show the mes-
sage ADJUST! after the program has been
started. Then:
• Adjust the reading head.
The reading head is positioned correctly when
the adjustment line (the first printed optical
mark) can be seen in the reading head’s
notch.
If
programs without optical marks reading
are to be run, the lower display will show the
message READY !!! after the program has
been selected.
• Press the
button to start the job.
The cutter delivers the first set of documents
to the lateral conveyor (or sequencer), which
moves the material through the folding device
and onto the conveyor. Following sets are
automatically delivered by the cutter.
The signal button on the Black Box turns off.
