Single-sheet feeder faults
The inserting system signals a fault in the
single-sheet feeder with:
– an error message in the display
and / or
– blinking red signal button on the Black Box.
After remedying the source of the fault, clear
the error message:
• Press the blinking red signal button for
about 1 second. The button will stop
blinking.
• Clear the error message in the display by
pressing the
button.
To clear a paper jam:
Caution!
Raise the pre-sluice (preliminary
separator block) before attempting to clear a
paper jam or when removing loaded material.
If the separating device draws more than a
single sheet, the display will show an error
message. Remedy:
• Raise the pre-sluice.
• Remove inserting material.
• Set the paper separator device (sluice)
adjustment to a narrower position (turn the
adjusting wheel toward
–
).
• Lower pre-sluice.
• Re-load inserting material.
• Clear the error message in the display by
pressing the
button.
