7.2.4 Adjust reading head
Optical marks recognition programs include a
reading head adjustment step during the start-
routine.
The automatic cutter positions the adjustment
line to the reading head. The lower display will
show the message ADJUST!
The adjustment line is the first printed mark
that passes under the reading head during an
optical marks recognition cycle.
This adjustment line must be exactly aligned
with the notch in the reading head.
If necessary, adjust the reading head:
• Depending on the adjustment needed,
loosen the lateral locking screw or the up /
down locking screw on the reading head.
• Align the reading head to the adjustment
line.
• Tighten locking screw(s).
