Lateral conveyor faults
A fault in the lateral conveyor is indicated
when the lateral conveyor’s red signal button
is blinking. The red signal button on the Black
Box may also blink.
After remedying the source of the fault, clear
the error message:
• Press the lateral conveyor’s blinking red
signal button for about 1 second. The
button will stop blinking.
• If the signal button on the Black Box is also
blinking, press it also for about 1 second.
The button will stop blinking.
The system is ready to resume operation.
To clear a paper jam:
• Push the sheet of paper which is jammed in
the lateral conveyor into the folding device
by hand until you notice resistance.
• Press the signal button on the folding
device. The sheet will be folded and
deposited on the conveyor.
• Press the blinking signal button on the
lateral conveyor. The next sheet will be
drawn from the feeder component.
• If the signal button on the Black Box is also
blinking, press the button.
The system is ready to resume operation.
