When the first set is complete on the con-
veyor and includes all supplements, you can
start automatic operation. How you do this
depends on the inserter model used in the
system (type
A
oder type
VA
inserter).
• Press the black button on the hand-held
conveyor control repeatedly until the first
set enters the inserter and automatic
operation begins.
• When the first set is complete in the in-
serter machine, press the
button.
The first set will be folded and inserted into
an envelope. The system then stops.
Start automatic operation only after making
sure that each handling step is performed
correctly. You can use the
button to
start a
single
insertion cycle.
Starting automatic operation:
• Press the
button – button will light up.
• If necessary: Switch material format to
match material.

• Press
button – button lights up and
automatic operation begins.
If supplements are drawn into the inserter with
too much force and slam into the chute, use
the speed setting wheel to reduce speed so
that supplements are gently delivered to the
inserter.
