Folding machine faults
An error in the folding device is indicated by
the red signal button on the following (down-
stream) module.
After clearing the source of the error, clear the
error message:
• Press the blinking signal button on the
adjacent device.
When all signal lamps have stopped blinking,
the system is ready to resume operation.
To clear a paper jam:
Warning! Danger of injury!
Keep other
people at a distance when working on the
folding device or clearing jammed paper. Mov-
ing parts can cause injury.
• Remove all materials from the delivery
device and the lateral conveyor /
sequencer.

Warning! Danger of injury!
Use caution
when closing the sequencer. Never reach
between the roller mounting and the
sequencer’s upper part. Fingers may be
crushed if the top slams closed.
• Carefully lower the sequencer upper part.
• Press the sequencer signal button. It will
stop blinking.
• If the Black Box signal button is blinking,
press it also. The button will stop blinking.
The system is ready to resume operation.
