Cut and insert continuous-feed paper
5.1.1 Starting operation
Detailed instructions on configuring the
inserting system for a job (setting up the
cutter, adjusting the reading head, etc) can be
found in Chapter 7 in descriptions of individual
modules and in the “Instruction Manual
Inserting System 4000“.
Caution!
Make sure that no material from the
previously run job remains in the machine.
• Set all paper guides according to the width
of the material being handled (c. 2 mm gap
on each side).
Adjust paper guides in the inserter first and
then continue “upstream” with adjustments.
• Load envelopes.
• Switch inserter power ON.
• Press
button on the inserter.
The inserter ON button lights up. The inserting
system tests all interfaces.
