8.4 Adjusting the parallelism of back gauge
Depending on the required inclination of back gauge, its adjustment should be carried out using
drawings 40 and 41,
Drawing. 40 Method for removing the cover
To adjust back gauge:
8.4.1 unscrew the screws 1 (fig.40)
8.4.2 remove the cover 2 (fig.40)
8.4.3 loosen the screws 1 (fig.41)
8.4.4 loosen the nuts 2 (fig.41)
8.4.5 by turning the screws 3, place the approaching beam 4 (Fig. 41) at the right angle
8.4.6 lock the adjustment screws with 3 nuts 2 (fig.41)
8.4.7 firmly tighten the screws 1 (fig.41)
After the cutting attempt, repeat the adjustment until the parallel cutting is achieved.
