Voice/Videophone Calls
Priority comm mode
Setting priority screen for
incoming calls during call or
packet communication
You can select the voice call or packet communication
screen to be given priority when data is received via
packet communication from a connected PC during a
voice call or when a voice call is received during i-mode
communication.

A screen change caused by this function does not
suspend the call or packet communication.
･
When i-mode mail or MessageR/F is received during a
voice call, a voice call screen appears by priority
regardless of this setting.
･
When a voice call comes in while displaying data
broadcasting site, Call alert image takes precedence to
appear regardless of this setting. → P257

No Set Up : Display the last image received without
giving display priority. Note that, when there is
receiving packet communication, a voice call
screen appears.
Voice call : Display the voice call screen.
Packet : Display the packet communication screen
during a voice call, and display the i-mode screen

Setting status message
You can record a status message in your own voice.

1 message approximately 10 seconds long can be
recorded.

As default On-hold tone, "I cannot answer to the phone
right now. Please wait or call back later." is saved.

Public mode (Drive mode)
Using Public mode (Drive mode)
Public mode is an automatic answering service putting
emphasis on manners in a highly public place. With
Public mode set, the caller hears an announcement
notifying that the receiver is driving a car or in a place
requiring suppression of calling (electric train, bus, movie
theater, etc.) and the call is disconnected.

Public mode can be set or canceled only in stand-by. It
is enabled also while " " appears on the top of
display.
･
Even in Public mode, calls can be made normally.
･
Even in Silent mode or Answer machine, Public mode
takes precedence.
･
Making an emergency call (110, 119 or 118) in Public
mode cancels Public mode.
