Saving / not saving measurement data
In general, WinFTM saves all readings automatically in blocks
within product files without the need for the user to expressly
instruct the instrument to do so.
However, the user must expressly instruct the instrument not to
save readings if this is desired.
This function is useful, for example, if during a test series you wish
to measure samples that are not part of the test series, or where it
is not necessary to save the measurement results. In this case, you
enable the function “Readings not stored” from the dialog window
“Modify product” (Menu command “Product > Modify” or command
button [Info]
by left-clicking the control box such that a check mark appearst.
You should use the large number display mode; otherwise the
measurement data will not be visible.
Clicking the control box again will disable the function and the
subsequent measurements will again be saved.
