Zone Alarm Type
158 AL TYPE Zxxx

Specifies the Alarm Type for this zone. The Alarm Type defines the conditions that should
occur when this zone goes into alarm. The alarm types are described as questions 108 - 128.
Zone Trouble Type
159 TRB TYP Zxxx
_ (1-8)
Specifies the Trouble Type for this zone. The Trouble Type defines the conditions that should
occur if this zone goes into trouble. If the zone does not have a trouble condition as specified
in questions 162 and 163 then the value placed in this field will be ignored. The trouble types
are defined in questions 129 - 141.
Zone Alarm On Open
160 AL OPEN Zxxx
YES
Indicates whether this zone activates an alarm condition on an open circuit. This question
will depend on the sensing characteristics of the device connected to this zone. For example,
this should be answered as YES for a keyswitch, and NO for a smoke detector.
UL
For UL Listed systems, fire zones shall be "NO".
