Entry Into Keypad Programming Mode
LCD Keypad programming can be entered as follows:
[CODE] [

] [INSTALLER CODE] [1]
Where:
[CODE] is the CODE key on the keypad
[
✴
] Is the Asterisk key on the keypad
[INSTALLER CODE] is the six-digit installer code reserved for entry to installer
functions such as keypad programming.

During keypad programming the function keys perform different functions. See section 4 of
this manual for further information.
Exit From Programming Mode
After performing the desired system programming, the session can be terminated as follows:
SHIFT + ABORT (Also known as the
✴
and # keys)
Press the SHIFT and ABORT keys (
✴
and #) at the same time. The control panel will exit
from the programming state and return to normal operation.
If
✴
and # are depressed too long, keypad panic will be tripped.
