3.7.
Locking the delivery table functions
The adjustment functions of the delivery table can be locked: lying surface height, longitudinal tilting,
angle of the backrest and thigh sections. (Un)locking of the table functions can be performed by
means of the central control panel, locking panel, or by use of the controller with the key (see
descriptions of the control elements at 3.1 Electronic control system description).
NOTE!
If the patient is not attended to by the medical staff, lock the table functions
activation of which may pose a threat to the patient safety.
3.8. Armchair position of the delivery table (cardiac chair)
The armchair position of the table can be set by pushing an appropriate button on the central control
panel (see description of the control elements at 3.1 Electronic control system description).
NOTE!
This function must be activated under the supervision of the medical staff.
Exercise caution as you activate this function. The movement of the eyes of the
thigh and backrest sections (caused by the actuators) may result in clipping your
fingers or hand. Do not press your hand against the elements and nearby.
3.9. Quick levelling of the thigh and backrest sections
(CPR function)
The delivery table is equipped with the quick section levelling mechanism: for the back and thigh
sections.
So as to level the backrest section, pull the lever under the backrest section, behind the patient's
head, and push the backrest section down.
So as to level the thigh section, pull the lever under the shank section, and push the thigh section
down.
3.10. Position "0"
The position "0" of the delivery table can be set by pushing an appropriate button on the central control
panel (see descriptions of the control elements at 3.1 Electronic control system description).
As for this position, the lying surface is set at the min. height; it is levelled and flat.
NOTE!
The position "0" is possible to be set only by use of the central control panel. It
should be set by the medical staff. The position "0" is a rescue position.
See to it that at the min. height of the lying surface the elastic pipe between the
lying surface elements and the base is not squeezed.
3.11. Extended lying surface frame position adjustment
So as to change the extended lying surface frame position (fig. 1, item 3), slightly lift the frame and pull
it towards yourself or push it in the direction of the table (depending on the initial position). The
medical device can thus be easily set as an armchair/delivery table.
NOTE!
The labour in the horizontal position should take place on the shortened lying
surface, at least two steps from the max. extension, in order to avoid leakage of
the physiological fluids onto the base elements!
Obligatorily exercise caution while adjusting the extended lying surface in relation
to the permanent one, as the distance between the permanent frame and extended
one is too small (if the pressure knob is used). In extreme cases, it may lead to
crushing the patient's or user's fingers.
Maximum permissible load of the extended lying surface: up to 27 st (170 kg).
