3.2.
Lying surface lifting and lowering
The lying surface height can be adjusted by means of an electric actuator. The lying surface stops
automatically on reaching the minimum or maximum height.
Control method:
♦
central control panel – (fig. 1, item 8c),
♦
control panel in the side rail (fig. 1, item 8d)
♦
wired controller (fig.1, item 8e)
♦
foot control pedal (option) (fig. 1, item 8f)
The buttons for the adjustment of the lying surface height and knob for
locking this function on the central panel are marked with the symbol:
NOTE!
Please, do acquaint yourself with the safety warnings, contained in the introduction
to this manual.
When you lift the lying surface from the lowest position, the Trendelenburg
function may activate spontaneously, which occurs in case of unfavourable
distribution of weight across the lying surface sections.
If the patient lies on the table without being supervised by the medical staff, then
the table should remain in the lowest position.
Do not lay any objects on the plastic base cover, since it might damage: the base
cover, lying surface elements, and angular position adjustment function of the
lying surface – Trendelenburg, when you lower the lying surface to the min. height
or during the Trendelenburg position, marking compliant with pt. 8.2.
3.3.
Backrest section angular position adjustment with the CPR function
The backrest section angular position (with autoregression) is adjusted by an electric actuator, and
manually – by releasing the CPR lever (fig. 1, item 8a). The backrest stops automatically on reaching
the extreme angles.
Control method:
♦
central control panel – (fig. 1, item 8c),
♦
control panel in the side rail (fig. 1, item 8d)
♦
wired controller (fig.1, item 8e)
♦
foot control pedal (option) (fig. 1, item 8f)
Lowering and lifting of the backrest acc. to the markings found on the controllers mentioned above. In
emergency situations, e.g. during patient resuscitation, quick backrest (releasing) levelling. Procedure
related to quick backrest lowering (CPR) – simultaneously lift the lever C (fig. 1) and, with your second
hand, press the backrest section. It causes the electric actuator to be released and section to be set to
any (lower) position, within the range of the angles provided in the technical data. Releasing the lever
activates the lock in a given position.
The buttons for the backrest angular position adjustment and knob for
locking this function on the central panel are marked with the symbol:
