Avoid safety risks which may result from the improper use of the power cables/cords, e.g.
tensioning the cables/cords, their squeezing in between moving parts, running over them.
Below is the warning: "Warning! - Follow the instructions for safe use ".
This warning can be found on parts and mechanisms whose operation, if non-
compliant with the description in this manual, may pose a threat to the patient
and user safety.
When you operate the device, take notice of elements and mechanisms marked
in this manner.
1.8.
Electromagnetic compatibility
The medical device:
Delivery Table LM-03
is an electrical device. Electrical devices are sources of
electromagnetic radiation and are subject to its impact themselves.
Use of an electrical device requires the application of appropriate safety measures related to
electromagnetic compatibility.
In the tables – pt. 7 Electromagnetic environment characteristics – an electromagnetic
environment is described in which the medical device:
Delivery Table LM-03
should be operated. The
user should observe the guidelines and warnings included in the tables.
NOTE!
The use of accessories, additional equipment, cables, spare parts and others that
are different than those offered and/or recommended by the manufacturer may
lead to increasing emissions and/or decreasing the device resistance to a variety
of electromagnetic phenomena.

For transmitters whose max. output power is not specified above, the separation distance
should be estimated acc. to the following formulae. P is the power in watts (W) acc. to the
transmitter manufacturer declaration.
NOTE
The above guidelines might not have to be used in all situations. Propagation of
electromagnetic waves is subject to absorption and reflection from buildings, objects and
people.
