Clear:
Insta n tly clears t h e stencil plane
t o the pol a r i t y specified by t h e
S t e n c i l

menu selection.

Texture:
Clears t h e entire sten c i l
p l a n e a n d t h e n pl aces wha tever t e x t u r e is
s e l ected o n the TEXTURE menu over the
e n t i r e s t e n c i l plane from the left to t h e
r i g h t. T a k es a pproximately 5 seconds to
c o m p l e t e.
2) Wipe

First clears the e n t i re stencil
p la n e i n s t a n t l y, a nd then performs a slow (4
s e c o n d ) Stencil Wipe from left to right. The
s te n c i l a d v a nces exactly one l i n e every
f i e l d , so m�y be used for slow-scan effects
or for h o r i z o n t a l wipes between two ima ges.
3) Wipe . :
This stencil wipe is identical
t o Wipe ... , except that t h e stenci l w i pe is
f r o m top to bottom of the screen.

How it is done:
a ) Select
C l e a r
i n STENCIL WIPES menu.
b) Return to i mage.
c) P ress WI PE STENCIL button.
d) T h e entire stencil plane will be

d ) Press WIPE STENCIL b u t t o n .

T e x t u r e w i l l be w i p e d o v e r t h e
stencil from left to right, t a k i n g a bout
5 seconds. The polarity of the
t e x t u red stenci l depends o n t h e
S t e n c i l
