Wrong connection of power supply may cause

Confirm the voltage, phase,
capacity, and the type of
receptacle of power supply.
Be sure to connect the earth wire.
Do not use a a branching socket
or a power strip.
It may cause burnout of burn out of cables or a
fire from overcurrent.
Failure to connect the earth wire may cause an
electrical shock.
Never fail to connect the earth
wire correctly.
Never connect the earth wire to a gas or a water
pipe in order to avoid an electric shock.
