Viewing RS-232 drivers
To view the settings and commands in each projector driver file without loading
the driver into the MLC, run the MLC 52 control software in emulation mode. See
Using emulation mode
, later in this chapter.

Open the MLC 52 configuration program.

On the Comm Port Selection screen, select Emulate.

Locate and open the drivers folder on your PC hard drive, at the following
location:
c:\Program Files\Extron\Medialink\drivers.

Select and open the file for the desired projector driver in the Drivers folder.

Viewing the IP Link IR package version
To find out the version number of the IP Link IR package that you have, do the
following:

Open the MLC 52 configuration program.

Click Help on the menu bar to display the Help menu. The item
DriverBase Version =
n
gives the IP Link IR package version.
IR drivers are stored at the following location:
c:\Program Files\Extron\driver2

Description
________.MLL
Extron-supplied projector driver library files. These files contain
commands and settings pertinent to a particular projector.
________.MLK
User-saved MLC/MLC-MLS/MLS configuration file. This
includes adjustments/settings and whatever driver (if any) was
installed in the MLC at the time the file was saved.
