4.2.14 ASF Unit Disassembly
[ASF Unit right side removal]
1. Remove the ASF Unit. (Refer to Section 4.2.3.)
2. Insert a flat-tipped screwdriver or similar tool under the two Hooks and push to
release them. Then open up the ASF Rear Cover to remove it.

3. Remove a screw 7) C.B.P 3x6 that are securing the Silence Cam Cover, and then
remove the Silence Cam Cover.
4. Remove the Extension Spring 0.5.
5. Disconnect the Torsion Spring 1.41 from the Silence Lever, and then remove the
Silence Lever.
6. Remove the Silence Cam.

7. Hold the Hopper Torsion Bar Holder and slide it to the left to release it, and then
remove it from the shaft.
8. Disengage the two Hooks, and then remove the Hopper Assembly and the
Compression Spring. At this time, remove the Torsion Bar Hopper from the
groove at the rear of the Hopper while removing the Hopper Assembly.

C A U T I O N C A U T I O N C A U T I O N
When reinstalling the Silence Cam Cover, it should be installed so
that the hollow at point A is facing outward and so that the two
hooks are inserted securely.
