4.2.12  Sensor Removal

4.2.12.1  PE Sensor Unit Removal

1. Remove the ASF Unit.  (Refer to Section 4.2.3.)

2. Disengage the two hooks of the PE sensor unit, lift the PE sensor unit up and then 

remove it.

4.2.12.2  PF Encoder Sensor Removal

1. Remove the Printer Mechanism.  (Refer to Section 4.2.1.3.)

2. Disconnect the connector (white 4-pin) from the PF Encoder Sensor.

3. Remove a screw 12) C.B.P 2.5x5 that is securing the PF Encoder Sensor.

4. Move the PF rotary encoder out of the way so that the PF encoder sensor can be 

turned clockwise, and then remove the PF encoder sensor.
