4.2.12.3 PF Rotary Encoder Removal
1. Remove the Printer Mechanism. (Refer to Section 4.2.1.3.)
2. Remove the Timing Belt from the Pinion Gear on the PF Motor.
(Refer to Steps 3 to 4 in Section 4.2.11.1.)
3. Remove the Timing Belt from the Combination Gear.
4. Remove a screw 6) C.B.S 3x6 that are securing the PF Encoder unit, and then
remove the PF Encoder unit.
5. Remove the spacer that is securing the PF rotary encoder.
6. Bend the PF rotary encoder gently to remove it, while being careful not to scratch
or break it on the printer mechanism.

4.2.12.4 PG Sensor / Release Sensor Removal
1. Remove the Printer Mechanism. (Refer to Section 4.2.1.3.)
2. Disconnect the respective connectors
(PG sensor: blue 2-pin; release sensor: yellow 2-pin).
3. Disengage the two hooks on each sensor, and then remove the PG sensor and
release sensor.
C A U T I O N
Handle the PF rotary encoder very carefully during this procedure
to avoid letting it get broken or damaged.

The Adjust lever should be installed without being pushed back.
Move the Adjust lever to the + side (to the rear) before installing
the release sensor, otherwise the release sensor lever will sit on
top of the Adjust lever.
