Turn on t he bat t ery power isolat ion switch ( 29) .
Before operating the m anoeuvring system , release the handbrake.
Act ivat e the m anoeuvring system by m ove slide swit ch to “ On” - I on the rem ote control ( Fig. 5A) . The green
LED ( Fig. 5H) on the rem ote control handset will illum inate and you will hear a short beep. The rem ote control
is ready for use.
Now you can choose the m ovem ent s according the sym bols shown on t he rem ot e cont rol. Straight forward ( Fig.
5B) , st raight reverse ( Fig. 5C) , left forward ( Fig. 5D) , left reverse ( Fig. 5F) , right forward ( Fig. 5E) , right
reverse ( Fig. 5G) .
I n addit ion, t he left forward ( Fig. 5D) and right reverse ( Fig. 5G) but tons or right forward ( Fig. 5E) and left
reverse ( Fig. 5F) buttons m ay be pressed at the sam e tim e t o t urn t he caravan around on it s own axis wit hout
m oving forward or backward (
t his funct ion j ust can w ork under t he “ single- ax le funct ion” ) .
When you drive st raight forwards or reverse ( press but t on 5B or 5C) , it is also possible t o adj ust t he direct ion
by addit ional pressing but ton 5D or 5E ( when driving forwards) or but t on 5F or 5G ( when driving reverse) .
Because of the “ soft start” technology, the caravan will slowly speed up. Because of the “ soft stop” technology,
the caravan will stop slowly. This allows you to m anoeuvre your caravan even m ore accurat ely wit hout any
shocks.

slow ly st op a ft er 0 .5 second and cont inue t o m ove a bout 6 cm ( depending on final speed) .

“soft st art ” st age ( slow ly speed up) , t he cara van w ill st op im m ediat ely.
After t he “ soft start” stage the caravan m oves according one fixed speed. The speed can increase a lit tle when
going downhill and decrease a lit t le when going uphill.
TI P:
The m anoeuvring syst em is m ore efficient when
reversing t he caravan up an incline.
After m anoeuvring, deactivat e the m anoeuvring syst em by m oving the slide swit ch to “ Off” - O on the rem ote
control handset ( Fig. 5A) . The green LED ( Fig. 5H) on the rem ot e cont rol handset will t urn off. St ore rem ot e
cont rol in a safe place ( out of reach of children or other unauthorised people) .

W hen you a re ready w it h m anoeuvring you need t o secure t he ha ndbrak e.
Disengage the drive rollers from the tyres. Fully disengage the rollers by turning t he handle on the engagem ent
Spindle ( Fig. 9) unt il it t urns no m ore wit hout excessive force. The point er of t he t ract ion indicat or label ( Fig.
11A) will be in the beginning of the yellow area.
Before you st art driving alw ays m a k e sure t hat t he bot h drive unit s are fully disengaged!

I t is possible t o posit ion the caravan’s hitch exact ly over a stat ionery car’s tow ball using the m anoeuvring
syst em . But please be very careful!
Use the button controls on the rem ote control to bring the hit ch of t he caravan to t he car. The soft start
technology allows you to locat e the tow- ball of the car by cent im et re. I t is bet t er reach t he tow ball wit h several
short “ trips” rather than trying to do it in one “ trip” .

When t he hitch is right above the tow ball of the vehicle, lower the hitch t o the ball and engage in the norm al
way using t he j ockey wheel.
Release t he rollers from t he cara van’s t yres. You cannot t ow t he caravan w it h t he drive
unit s are engaged! Before you st art driving a lw ays m ake sure t hat t he bot h drive unit s are
fully disenga ged!

your cara van t yres and st r ain your t ow vehicle!
