Always m ake sure that t he rollers are fully disengaged from the tyres when the m anoeuvring syst em is
not in use. This is bet t er for t he t yres and for t he syst em .

m anpower. This can dam age t he t yres, m anoeuvring system and t he t owing vehicle.
Always m ake sure t hat aft er you have finished using t he m anoeuvring syst em , t he bat t ery power
isolat ion switch ( 29) is swit ched off and t he key is rem oved and st ored in a safe place ( out of reach of
children or ot her unauthorised people) . I f you don’t swit ch off, t he bat t ery will be discharged by t he
sm all ” st andby” current .
Always m ake sure t hat t he rem ot e cont rol handset is swit ched off and st ored ( in t he wall holder) in a
safe place ( out of reach of children or ot her unaut horised people) . I f you don’t swit ch off, the bat tery
will be discharged by t he sm all ” st andby” current.
Do not rely on the m anoeuvring system to act as a brake.
Always apply t he handbrake aft er m anoeuvring, before disengaging t he drive rollers from t he t yres.
Do not use the m anoeuvring syst em as a support when j acking up the caravan, since this can dam age
the drive unit.
Depending on the weight of t he caravan, t he m anoeuvring syst em cannot overcom e all obstruct ions
wit hout assistance. Please use wedges as a ram p.
All wheels and t yres on t he caravan m ust be of t he sam e size and design. I f tyres are worn or new
tyres are fit ted, the distance between the drive rollers and the tyres m ay need readj usting ( see
“

) .
Sensitive obj ects such as cam eras, DVD- Players etc. Must not be kept in t he stowage box near the
cont rol unit or t he m ot or cable. They can be dam aged by t he electrom agnet ic fields.
Do not m ake any m odificat ions on t he caravan m anoeuvring system ( m echanical or electronically) .
This can be very dangerous! No warrant y claim will be accept ed and we cannot guarant ee t he funct ion
of the syst em if any m odificat ions are m ade. We will not be liable for any dam age what soever caused
as a result of incorrect installation, operation or m odification.
OPERATI ON – MOTOR UN I TS
The m anoeuvring system has two m otor unit s ( 1 & 2) . I n general t hey are m ounted in front of the axle of the
caravan. Both units are ident ical but cannot be swit ched.

I n order to engage the rollers, fit t he end socket of the engagem ent tool ( 6) on the spindle ( Fig. 9) on t he right
or left drive unit and turn the handle ( Fig. 10) .
Tract ion indicat or label:
The yellow- green- red tract ion indicator label ( Fig. 11A) , on the side of each m otor unit indicat es if the roller is
depressing t he t yre sufficient ly t o provide adequat e t ract ion.
I f the pointer is in the yellow area – Rollers are not t ouching or depressing t he t yre sufficient ly.
I f the pointer is in the green area – Rollers should be connect ing correct ly t o the tyre ( m argin of 15m m )
I f the pointer is in the red area – Rollers are connected to the tyre but in an extrem e position. I t could be
t hat t he t yre of t he caravan has insufficient air pressure or t he drive unit has been knocked out of posit ion
and a visit to a workshop is required to reposition the assem bly.
