OPERATI ON – ELECTRON I C CON TROL UN I T
The electronic control unit ( 32) , which is m ount ed inside your caravan, is responsible for cont rolling t he
m anoeuvring system .
The control unit has three LED’s, one pushbutton and one slide switch ( Fig. 3) :
Green LED
( Fig. 3B) : Power LED cont inuously illum inat ed
when system is act ivated ( by m oving slide swit ch to
“ On” - I ) . I f t he handset far away from the control unit , beyond the availably distance, t his LED will go out.
Blue LED
( Fig. 3C) : Error m essage LED concerning caravan batt ery:
Blue LED is blinking ( 2 tim es blinking, break, 2 tim es blinking, break etc.) : Bat tery voltage too low ( < 10V) .
Bat t ery needs t o be recharged.
Blue LED is blinking ( 4 tim es blinking, break, 4 tim es blinking, break etc.) : Bat tery Volt age t oo high ( over
charged) . Try t o discharge t he bat t ery by t urning on a user ( for exam ple a lam p or wat er- pum p) .
Red LED
( Fig. 3D) is blinking ( 6 tim es blinking, break, 6 tim es blinking, break et c.) : Am p overload protection is
act ivat ed. Wait about 60 seconds and try again.
I n general all error m essages will reset aut om at ically after one m inut e. I f this is not the case, reset the
electronics of t he m anoeuvring syst em by swit ching off t he syst em via t he isolation swit ch and t he rem ot e
control handset for at least 15 seconds and then turning it on again.
The Reset But t on
( Fig. 3A) : The rem ot e control handset and the control unit are synchronised with each ot her
in t he fact ory. I f t he cont rol unit or t he rem ot e cont rol handset is replaced, t hey m ust be re- synchronised as
described below:
Check the inst allation in accordance wit h t he installat ion instructions and ensure t hat t he drive rollers are
not applied. Check t hat t he bat t ery is properly connect ed, check the condition of t he batt ery and that a
voltage of 12 V is present at t he control unit .
Please ensure that the bat tery isolat ion swit ch is on.
Act ivat e the rem ot e control handset by sliding the slide swit ch to “ On” - I ( Fig. 5A) . The green LED on the
rem ot e cont rol handset ( Fig. 5H) st art s t o flash slowly.
Press the reset button ( Fig. 3A) on t he control unit . All t hree LED’s on t he control unit ( Fig. 3B, 3C & 3D)
will flash slowly.
Press bot h forwards ( Fig. 5B) and reverse ( Fig. 5C) button on the rem ote control handset for about 3
seconds. Then the handset buzzer will give a short beep to confirm t hat the synchronisation is com plete.
After successful synchronisation, t he green LED on the cont rol unit ( Fig. 3B) and on t he rem ot e cont rol
handset ( Fig. 5H) will illum inate cont inuously.

caravan m anoeuvring syst em is
suit able for bot h single axle and t win axle caravans. You j ust need to pull the single- twin axle funct ion switch
( Fig 3S/ T) on t he control unit , so t hat the m anoeuvring syst em can be used for a single- axle caravan or a t win-
axle caravan ( for 2 m ot or use but also for 4 m ot or use) . I n the twin axle function the all wheels will drive but at
a different speed.
The switch standard pre- selected for single axle use ( Fig 3S) . For t win axle use, j ust m ove t he swit ch t o t he
twin axle posit ion ( Fig. 3T) . When m ove t he single- twin axle funct ion swit ch, the bat tery power isolat ion switch
( 29) m ust be t urned off.
OPERATI ON – GETTI N G STARTED
Please m a k e sure you rea d t he safet y inst ruct ions very carefully and m ak e sure t hat you
follow t hese guidelines!
Make sure t hat t he bat t ery t hat supplies t he syst em is fully cha rged and in good condit ion.
Make sure t hat t he cara va n is free from t he vehicle a nd t he handbrake is on. Also m a ke sure
t hat t he corner st eady feet are fully raised.
Fit t he end socket of the engagem ent tool ( 6) onto the engagem ent spindle ( Fig. 9) on t he right or left hand
m ot or unit . This only needs t o be done on one side of your caravan since t he ot her side will aut om at ically follow
via the cross actuat ion bar.
Turn t he handle unt il it will t urn no m ore wit hout excessive force. The colour of the tract ion indicator label ( Fig.
11A) should be into the green area.
