Route t he m ot or cables along the underside of the caravan floor, inside t he supplied convolut ed trunking ( 11)
( this will protect t he electrical cables against sharp edges and dirt ) and t hrough t he drilled hole.
Secure t he cable trunking ( 11) to t he chassis or under body of the caravan by using t he P- Clips ( 20) and screws
( 19) .
Once the m otor cables are through the drilled hole next to the control unit ( 32) , cut the cables, ensuring that
they are sam e length. Rem ove approx. 5m m of the insulation from the ends. Fix the spade fork connectors ( 24)
t o t he m ot or cables by using crim ping pliers. A secure and good quality connect ion on each cable is essential.
Attach the spade fork connectors to the term inals on t he control unit ( see wiring diagram Fig. 12) and fix t hem
tight ly by the screws. A safe and good qualit y connect ion on each cable is again essential.
Find a suit able place for t he batt ery power isolat ion switch ( 29) which includes an ext ernal holder wit h hinged

I m port ant : The sw it ch m ust be m ount ed ont o t h e ext erior body of t he ca ravan and be easily
accessible from t he out side of t he caravan in case of any em ergency.
The swit ch m ust be m ount ed close

wit h the bolts, washers and nuts, and finally m ount it on t he caravan wit h stainless steel screws ( 19) .
Route t he posit ive ( + ) power cable ( including fuse) from t he bat tery to t he bat tery power isolat ion swit ch ( 29)
and t han furt her t o t he control unit ( 32) .
The electronic connections of the batt ery power isolat ion swit ch ( 29) m ust be covered by t he supplied rubber
isolat ion shells ( 33) .
Route t he negative ( - ) power cable direct ly to the control unit ( 32) .
N o ca bles m a y be rout ed over t he cont rol unit !
Again it is recom m ended to use t he supplied trunking ( 11) to protect the cables against sharp edges. Attach t he
trunking wit h P- clips ( 20) and P- clip screws ( 19) .
Cut t he cables to an appropriate length and rem ove approx. 5m m of the insulat ion from the ends. Fix t he spade
connectors by using crim ping pliers. Two types of battery term inal connector ( 22 & 23) are provided for use as
appropriat e. A secure and good qualit y connection on each cable is essential.
Connect the battery cables ( 14 & 15) to the control unit ( 32) : At tach t he spade fork connectors to the positive
( + ) en negat ive ( - ) t erm inal of the control box and fix t hem t ight ly by t he screws.
Connect the battery cables to the exist ing battery term inals ( red = posit ive, black = negative) .
Caut ion! M ak e sure t hat you do not reverse t he Posit ive ( + ) and N egat ive ( - ) connect ions.
I ncorrect connect ion ( reverse polarit y) w ill result in dam age t o t he cont rol unit .
Seal the 25m m hole in vehicle under body using plast ic body sealant .
Finally find a suit able place for t he rem ot e cont rol handset wall holder ( 34) and fix this by the supplied screws
( out of reach of children or ot her unaut horised people) .
I nst allat ion of t he caravan m anoeuvring system is now com plet e.
I N STALLATI ON – TW I N AXLE
This m anual describes t he general installat ion and use of t he m anoeuvring syst em for single axle caravans.
When you use t he m anoeuvring system for a t win axle caravan, please check t he following:
Perm issible overall weight twin axle ( 2 m ot ors)
1800kg ( 1500kg on 18% gradient )
Perm issible overall weight twin axle ( 4 m ot ors)
2500kg ( 1800kg on 18% gradient )
2 m ot ors:
The procedure for installing a 2 m ot ors m anoeuvring system on a t win axle caravan is t he sam e as for a single
axle caravan. The elect ronic cont rol unit ( 4) only m ust be prepared for t win axle use:
Turn off t he bat t ery power isolat ion swit ch and m ove t he single/ twin axle function swit ch ( Fig 3S/ T) on the
control unit to the twin axle position ( Fig. 3T) , so that the m anoeuvring system can be used for a twin axle
caravan. I n t he t win axle funct ion when m aking curves, all wheels will drive but at a different speed.
