Assem ble the parts of the cross actuation bar ( 4 & 5) and connect them t o the m otor unit s ( 1 & 2) with the
nylon nut and bolt ( factory fit ted) onto the cross actuation bar- connectors ( Fig. 1 & Fig. 1A) . Nut s m ust be no
m ore t han finger- t ight at this stage.
Make sure t hat the m ain cross bar ( 3) and t he cross actuation cent re bar ( 4) are posit ioned in t he m iddle of t he
caravan ( t he cent re of t he bar is m arked) .
With the m ain assem bly is loosely fit ted ont o the chassis, slide the whole assem bly along the chassis until t he
rollers are 20m m away from t he surface of t he cent re each tyre ( Fig. 10) . Two 20m m spacers ( 30) are provided.
I t is vit ally im port ant t ha t each roller is at exact ly t he sam e dist ance aw ay from t he t yre.
The w hole assem bly m ust be para llel t o t he cara van/ t railer axle.
Slide t he m ot or unit s in or out of t he cross bar ( 3 ) a ccordingly t o ensure t he roller w ill ha ve
t he m ax im um possible cont act w it h t he t read of t he t yre. Ensure t hat t he posit ion of each
m ot or unit does not obst ruct shock absorbers ( if fit t ed) and t hat t he gear cover ( Fig. 8 ) is
not t oo close t o t he surfa ce of t he t yre/ shock absorber. The m inim um clea rance w hen t he
drive unit s sw ivelled in is 1 0 m m .
Fully t ighten t he four bolt s ( Fig. 1B) on the m ain cross bar ( 3) and t he four bolt s ( Fig. 1C) on cross act uat ion
assem bly ( 4 & 5) .
Fully t ighten all the nylon nut s on both clam ping assem blies ( Fig. 2) . First tighten t he diagonal placed M10x60
bolt s with a 20Nm torque, and then M10x50 bolts to a 40Nm torque.
Re- check t he dist ance of 20m m from t he rollers to the tires, the posit ion of the alum inium rollers in addit ion to
the surface of the tire and finally the distance between the plastic gear cover ( Fig. 8) and the tires & shock
absorbers ( > 10m m ) . The weight of the caravan m usty be on the wheels when doing this. I f necessary, loosen
the bolt s and re- adj ust the position of t he assem bly.
Re- check t ha t all bolt s/ nut s have been t ight ened t o t he correct t orque!
The m ain m echanical com ponents have now been installed.

M ak e sure t he 1 2 V supply from t he bat t ery and any 2 3 0 V elect ricit y supply are disconnect ed.
Rem ove batt ery cable term inals and disconnect any ext ernal elect rical power before st art ing work.
Find a suit able place for the electronic control unit ( 32) , such as a st orage area, under a seat or a bed. Make
sure this place is dry and close to t he battery ( 40cm to 60cm ) . The electronic control unit can be m ounted
vert ically on a side wall or be m ount ed flat . When m ounted vertically, the connections m ust point downwards to
avoid any short - circuit s by obj ect s falling int o.
Fix the electronic control unit securely into position with t wo screws M5x40 ( 35) . Note: if the provided screws
are not of suit able length or type for the desired location/ m at erial please subst it ut e these as appropriat e.
Drill a 25m m hole t hrough t he floor of t he caravan approxim at ely 150m m centrally in front of t he cont rol unit
( 32) term inals.
Caut ion! Tak e ext ra care t o a void any chassis m em bers, gas pipes a nd elect rica l w ires!
Route and connect t he m otor- cables in accordance wit h wiring diagram ( Fig. 12) ( red = posit ive, black =
negat ive) .
The wiring diagram ( Fig. 12 + Table. A ( see below) ) depicts the wiring route when inst alling the m otor units in
