NE107 Alerts category configuration
NE107 alerts are divided into FF I/O Board, Signal Processing, and Sensor. Each alert type
has a dedicated configuration screen, and a dedicated Suppress Alerts screen. The FF I/O
Board Screen is used here. See
for more information on the conditions
of each. The alerts are categorized as Failure alerts, Out of Specification alerts, Maintenance
- Required alerts, and Function Check alerts. Each category contains the same list of Device
Alerts and check boxes. Alerts are assigned to a category by checking the check box next to
the alert. This activates the alert in that category. Alerts can be assigned to more than a
single category by checking the same alert check box in multiple categories. This is not
recommended as alarms can proliferate increasing the complexity of alarm management
and delaying corrective action. Use of the factory default alert categories is recommended.
