Zigzag, Center – Satin Stitch Appliqué
The satin stitch (zigzag stitch with short length) is
commonly used for appliqué, monogramming,
stems of flowers and petals. Threads of 100%
cotton, rayon or silk provide the best results.
Change stitch width to 3.6 and stitch length to
0.4.
Attach presser foot I.
Apply stabilizer to the fabric for proper stitch
formation.
Appliqué Preparation
Press fusible webbing to the wrong side of appliqué
fabric.
Cut out appliqué shape.
Fuse appliqué to main fabric.
Sew appliqué to fabric with needle swinging off
applique.
