If the embroidery is to be placed in a particular area,
use fabric marker to mark reference lines (X and Y).
The X and Y lines must be perpendicular to each
other.
HINT: If you don’t have a t-square, draw the
vertical (Y) line and use the holes of the corners
of the embroidery frame to mark the horizontal
(X) line.
Embroidery Frames
Large – The embroidery area is 24 cm x 14 cm
(9 1/2" x 5 1/2"). The generous dimensions allow you
to embroider a single large design or combine
several designs or alphabets into one arrangement.
Medium – The embroidery area is 11.4 cm x 11.4 cm
(4 1/2" x 4 1/2"). Embroider moderately sized
designs.
Small – The embroidery area is 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm
(2 1/8" x 2 1/8"). Embroider monograms or small
designs.
Continuous – The embroidery area is 5 cm x 12 cm
(2" x 4 3/4"). The edge guide and quick clamp for
securing fabrics allows borders to be sewn perfectly
aligned when used with continuous embroidery
designs.
Securing Fabric in Frame/Hoop
Loosen adjustment screw on outer frame and
remove inner frame.
Place inner frame on fabric, aligning the reference
lines on the fabric with the guidemarks on the inner
frame.
Fit inner frame and fabric into outer frame. Complete
this step on a flat surface for accuracy.
Slightly tighten the adjustment screw. Gently pull
fabric taut in frame, respecting the fabric grain
(vertical and horizontal). Check reference lines with
guidemarks. Once fabric is taut and properly
positioned, tighten adjustment screw with
screwdriver.
