Repositioning Frame After Embroidery
Begins
You may want to reposition the frame after
beginning to embroider.
Touch
key located on the final layout
screen if:
•
the needle thread or bobbin thread breaks
•
you want to restart the embroidery sequence
(example: the fabric is not positioned properly in
the frame)
•
you want to eliminate a part of a design (color
change)
Thread Breaks
If the needle thread or bobbin thread breaks while
embroidering, the machine will automatically stop.
•
If the needle thread breaks, raise the needle and
presser foot. Move the carriage (see page 149)
and rethread.
•
If the bobbin thread breaks, cut the needle
thread, remove embroidery frame and reinsert
bobbin. Attach embroidery frame.
To reposition the embroidery so there are no missing
stitches where the thread broke, touch
key.
Touch key to move frame back before the
thread break. Each touch on the key moves the
frame 1 stitch. Touch and hold the key to move 10
stitches or the amount set in the Options screen.

Touch
key to move frame back by a
percentage of the total of stitches.
Start Over Embroidery
Touch key to return frame to beginning of
entire embroidery sequence.
