Contacts
The Contacts menu can be used to configure the phone numbers and all types of calls and
communications that the control panel can deal with depending on the associated events
To go directly to the section you are interested in, without manually scrolling the page of the submenu, just
click on the
Telephone Numbers
and B
ase Messages
links located under the title.
The
Begin
link that can be used to return to the top of the page appears at the end of the various sections.
5.11.1
Contacts
This can be used to configure the parameters of individual contacts, phone numbers or IP addresses.
It is accessed through the
PROGRAMMING
→ Contacts
menu.

The table shows for each phone number:
•
NUMBER
: This is the sequential number attributed to the telephone.
•
ENABLED
: This shows whether the phone number is enabled.
•
DESCRIPTION
: This is the alphanumeric label used to identify the recipient more easily. It can be up
to 32 characters long.
•
ASSOCIATED SECTORS
: The sectors associated with the phone number.
•
SEND TYPE
: Type of communication used. The possible options are:
o
Voice Call
: The alarm messages are sent in voice form. The messages are built from files
generated with the Genera audio submenu.
o
SMS
: The alarm messages are sent as text messages, using the descriptions of the inputs,
outputs etc. involved.
o
SMS + Voice Call
: The alarm messages are first sent as a text and then as a voice message.
o
Contact-ID
: The alarm messages are sent via a telephone data transmission protocol using DTMF
modulation.
o
SIAIP
: The alarm messages are sent via digital protocol (ADM-CID or SIA-DCS).
•
PHONE/IP
: The phone number being called or the IP address to which the alert is sent.
•
BASE MESSAGE
: This is the message placed at the beginning of each text and voice message.
•
RETRIES
: Number of call attempts to a given phone number. If line control is not active, the attempts
will still be made, even if the previous attempt was successful.
