Subaru engine:
1. Open the fuel valve

on the engine.
2. Set the choke

to
"closed".
3. Move the throttle
lever
(3)
up to the
maximum position,
towards the image of
the rabbit.
4. Turn the ignition key
(4)
to the right, and
release the key as
soon as the engine
has started.
Vanguard engine:
For your information:
The throttle lever allows
the operator to adjust
the RPM, open the fuel
shut off valve and stop
the engine.
