6.3 Basic hardware settings
The parameter basic settings of the pack controller are configured using the DIP switch S1, the decade switch
S2 and the jumper J1. The setting elements S1, S2 and J1 are located next to the cover on the PCB of the pack
controller (see picture).
The following basic settings must be configured using the setting elements S1 and S2:

Warning of dangerous electrical voltage! Danger of electric shock! BEFORE
connecting and
disconnecting, it must be ensured that
no voltage
is present at all connections of the controller.
Wiring of the digital inputs:
All digital inputs of the pack controller must be set to 230 V AC for the
operation.
If 230 V AC is applied to an input that has been configured for 24 V AC, this results in destruction of the
module.
