UNCTIONS

The Toolkit function is used for setting various operating parameters for the GKT as well as some general maintenance
functions. These options are set with their default values. However, you may want to change the maintenance options to
suit your individual needs.
A table with all the different Toolkit options and descriptions are given on the following pages.

Access the Toolkit options by:

The Toolkit menu appears with the different classifications:

Operating Mode: defines GKT operating mode features.
Telephony Features: defines defaults for Coral telephony features relating to the GKT.
Directory: defines defaults for GKT Directory options. Also includes option for refreshing Busy/Idle indicators,
which should be performed whenever the GKT is re-installed.
Timeouts: defines all GKT timeouts for the graphic display.
Diagnostic Tools: used to view GKT software versions.
The Operating Mode, Telephony Features and Timeouts Menu options can also be updated from your PC by
using the GKT PC-Utility software package (see the GKT PC-Utility Reference Manual Cat # 7244-7143101)..

Choose the required classification by pressing the related softkey.

4.

The classification options are displayed. Choose the item to be changed.
Use the on-line help for descriptions of particular options, by selecting the item and pressing

Enter a new value from the keyboard. As the new value is entered, the old value is automatically erased. Press

to move to the next option or use the scroll keys.
