Type  of  printhead,  Reference  pressure  and  Reference  VOD  that  can’t  be  edited  directly.  Their 

values are decided by the value of printhead code. 

5.1.1.

 

Printhead Height 

 

The jet must be stopped to set up this option. As for printhead to printer cabinet height,Pressure 

varies  by  5  units  for  every  meter.  Printhead  Height  can  set  up  from  the  value  between  -9.5  and 

+9.5 meters.However, printheads are currently a maximum of 6 meters in length, so the maximum 

value  here  should  be  6.0.  For  brevity  ,  the  installation  height  of  printhead  relative  to  Printer  is 

calculated by half a  meter or  one meter.  If the printhead is mounted below  the  printer,  the value 

should be inputting the following format -X.Xm. If the printhead is mounted above the printer, it 

is not necessary to place + in front of the value. The value may be entered simply as -X.Xm. 

NOTE:  Be carefully  when  setting  this  option;  poor  printer  performance will  result  if  incorrectly 

set. 

The  printer  will  automatically  change  the  pressure  reference  according  to  inputed  printhead 

height.In the menu you can see the calculated solvent- added- pressure

Modulation Settings 

 

Set the referance modulation voltage value 

5.1.3.

 

Conduit Length 

Restart  the  printer  after  changing  the  new  printhead.  The  system  will  detect  the  length  of  new 

printhead conduit automatically.   

 

5.2.

 

Alarm Output 

The printer offers three-way relay output. Each way is dynamic contact, that is contact closes 

when action. It can control current circuit of the voltages under 60V and the current under 1A. It 

usually controls the outside alarm indicator light. You need to offer extra power supplier to outside 

alarm indicator light. Don’t want to get power supply from the printer. 

Four modes of alarm signal: 

 

1. Pulse output: Contact pulse closes twice during alarm occurring. 

 

2. Continuous output: Contact close continuously during alarm occurring. 

 

3. Continuous pulse output: Contact pulse close during alarm occurring. 

 

4. No output: No action on contact.
