4.2.2 Schedule record setup
Default setting is 24-hour record mode.
Please check that Menu>Setting>General>Time Format
agrees with format used for schedule setting.
Set record mode (schedule/motion detection/alarm),
channel, week options.
Prerecord
(3-5 seconds,depending on bit rate)
If this is highlighted, when using MD (motion detect)
or Alarm triggering, 3 – 5 seconds of recording will
be captured prior to an event trigger starting.
Redundancy
(set redundant HDDs in Menu>Advanced>HDD Management)
This option allows you to backup by channel an extra backup copy on another Hard
Drive labeled Redundant. Highlight the Redundancy box for channels to backup and
then setup another Hard Drive/s as Redundant in HDD Management menu. Note that
you will need a minimum of two hard drives in this DVR to use this option.
Record Type
(Regular, MD, Alarm)
You can select from Regular (Continuous Recording), MD (Motion Detection) and
Alarm (Alarm Recording). Highlight the box in the relevant column for the time
period required.
Period 1 ~ 6 Allows the setting of up to 6 periods within one 24 hour slot.
If 24 x
7 recording required, only use Period 1. Eg. 00:00 24:00 If for example you want
to split a day between continuous recording and Motion detect then
Period 1
could be
00:00 07:00 MD
,
Period 2
could be
07:01 18:00 Regular
and
Period 3
could be
18:01 24:00 MD.
Ensure times do not overlap between periods.
Ensure
SAVE
is pressed to save all settings.
Set all days and all channels

If you need to duplicate settings for more than one channel you can use the Copy and
Paste option buttons at the bottom of the Schedule menu.
