4. +12v Output
This provide the power to alarm devices with current less than 1A.
5. Poor grounding of the front-end devices may cause damage to chips.
The alarm input type can be Normally Open or Normally Closed.
D1 and HD1 series: (alarm converter)
1. “Ground”:ground connections
2. “+12v”:Provide the power to alarm device
with current less than 2A
3. “OUT 1
2” is two alarm outputs switch
(normally open)
4. “485 A
B” is communication connection,
used to connect with recorder control
devices such as PTZ decoders
.

” is controllable power output
the third alarm output, is used for standby
power for smoke detector alarm device.
To cancel the alarm requires the device to be powered down.
6. “ALARMIN( 1… 8) voltage alarm inputs. The scope of the input voltage is 5-15V(12V is
recommended).
CIF series:
CIF ch-16 uses grounding alarm input
(different with voltage alarm input. Give an alarm
when alarm input is connected to ground.} Descriptions about alarm input and output
a) ALARM (1… 16) are 16 channels grounding alarm input.
b) In
OUT
row,1-NO C, 2-NO C, 3-NO C and 4-NO C are 4 normal open relay outputs. 6-
NO C NC is a NO/NC relay output.
c) “+12V”: Need peripheral equipment p12v power with 1 A current.
d) A
B: used to connect some control devices such as pan/tilt decoder. If you connect
many pan-tilt decoders, you should connect a 120 ohm resistor at end of A, B lines.
