When PC-type monitor is used to replace the monitor, the following points should be noticed:

The PC should not be powered on continuously for a long time.

Regular degausing will be necessary.

Keep away from strong electromagnetic fields.
Using a TV as video output device is not a reliable method. The user also needs to reduce the
hours of use and control the interference from power supplies and other devices. Using low
cost television products can present problems concerning unreliable protection circuits that
could result in damage to this DVR.
2.3.4 Audio output
The audio output parameter of DVR is 200mvp-p (BNC), can connect directly with low
impedance earphone, active sound box or amplifier-driven audio output device.
To avoid feedback ensure that the microphone is not placed too close to the sound amplifier.
Also note the following: if feedback or poor quality audio occurs:-

Use better sound pick-up with better directing property.

Reduce the volume gain of the sound amplifier or audio pre-amplifier.
Using more sound-absorbing materials in the location can reduce echo and improve
acoustics.

Change the positioning of the equipment to alleviate feedback problems.
2.4 Connection of alarm input and output devices
Before connection, please pay attention to the following points:
1. Alarm input
a. First confirm if the alarm input is grounding alarm input or voltage alarm input.
b. Alarm input: for D1/HD1series, 5~15v is needed for voltage alarm input. For CIF series,
grounding signal is needed for alarm input.
2. Alarm output
The alarm output port should not be connected directly to a high power load to avoid heavy
current which may damage the relay, but you can use the connection between the alarm
output port and the load.
3. How to connect PTZ decoder
a. Ensure the decoder has the same grounding with DVR, otherwise you may fail to control
the PTZ. Shielded twisted wire is recommended and the shielded layer is used to connect
to the ground.
b. Avoid high power surges. Install power surge protection equipment.
c. For long RS485 data lines, 120 ohm resistor should be parallel connected between A, B
lines on the far end to guarantee the signal quality
d. The RS485 A,B connections on the f DVR cannot be parallel connected with other RS485
control devices.
e. The voltage between of A,B lines of the decoder should be less than 5v.
