CHAPTER 6 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Although you cannot clear the error message E-020 and E-021 until you remove
the jammed cover from the machine, you can clear the error message E-026 if
you interrupt the light between the safety sensors or open and close the main
cover. To remove the cover after clearing the message E-026, press the paper
ejection button on the motion check menu.

3-2. Messages about External Cover
When any of the external covers is removed from the machine, the following messages appear.
E-007 Cover[top]
E-008 Cover[front]
E-009 Cover[back1]
E-010 Cover[back2]
E-011 Cover[side(panel side)]
E-012 Cover[side(feed lower)]
E-013 Cover[side(feed upper)]
E-014 Cover[feed back side]
<Cause>
The external cover is not attached to the machine.
<Solution>
Check which cover is removed seeing the figure shown on the LCD monitor, and turn off the
machine to attach the cover.
3-3. Messages about Motor and Sensor
When the motor or sensor inside the machine malfunctions, the following messages appear on the
LCD monitor. If the messages appear frequently, the machine may have any problem. Stop using the
machine and contact your dealer.
(1) E-031 Motor err[Level plate o/c]
<Cause>
A booklet gets caught in the level plate.
<Solution>
Check that a booklet gets caught in the level plate. If there is no booklet, interrupt the light
between the safety sensors to clear the error.
(2) E-032 Motor err[Stacker]
<Cause>
The booklet size does not meet the specification.
<Solution>
Check that the booklet size meets the specification. If it does, interrupt the light between the
safety sensors to clear the error.
