Proofer and Oven Light Transformers
WARNING
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE THAT
INVOLVES ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
OR DISCONNECTION AND/OR EXPOSURE
TO ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, ALWAYS
FOLLOW THE ELECTRICAL LOCKOUT/
TAGOUT PROCEDURE. DISCONNECT ALL
CIRCUITS. FAILURE TO COMPLY CAN
CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGE, INJURY OR
DEATH.
The Proofer and Oven lights use two separate
transformers. Test the transformer in question before
replacing it.
Note: The Proofer Lights are equiped with a circuit
breaker that protects the transformer from overheating
if lights with improper wattage ratings have been
installed. Check this circuit breaker before replacing the
transformer. Refer to the Proofer Lights Circuit Breaker
section of this manual.
1. Place the Power ON/OFF Switch in its OFF position,
and follow the proper Lockout/Tagout procedures.
2. Open the Electrical Compartment Access Panel,
refer to the Panels and Covers section of the manual
for instructions.
3. Tag and disconnect the failed transformer wires.
4. Remove the screws securing the transformer to the
inner wall of Electrical Compartment.

5. Reusing the screws, attach the new transformer to
the inner wall of the Electrical Compartment.
6. Referring to the tags connect the new transformer’s
wiring.
7. Restore power to the unit and verify that the Proofer/
Oven lights are working properly.
Oven Element Contactor

FOLLOW THE ELECTRICAL LOCKOUT/

DEATH.
1. Place the unit’s Power ON/OFF Switch in its OFF
position, and follow the proper Lockout/Tagout
procedures.
2. Open the Electrical Compartment, refer to the
Panels and Covers section of the manual for
instructions.
3. Tag and disconnect the Oven Element Contactor
wires.
4. Remove the screws securing the contactor to the
inner wall of electrical compartment.
