To use
PPTP/L2TP
as the accessing protocol of the internet, please choose
PPTP/L2TP
from
Connection Type
drop down menu. The following web page will be shown.
Available parameters are listed below:

Server IP
- Type in the IP address of the PPTP/L2TP server.
ISP Access Setup
User Name
- Type in the username provided by ISP in this
field.
Password -
Type in the password provided by ISP in this
field.
PPP Setup
Redial Policy -
If you want to connect to Internet all the
time, you can choose
Always On
. Otherwise, choose
Connect on Demand
.
Idle Time -
Set the timeout for breaking down the Internet
after passing through the time without any action. When you
choose
Connect on Demand,
you have to type value here.
MTU
It means Max Transmit Unit for packet. The default
setting is 1442.
WAN IP Network
Settings
Obtain an IP address automatically
– Click this button to
obtain the IP address automatically.
Specify an IP address
– Click this radio button to specify
some data.
IP Address
– Type the IP address.
Subnet Mask
– Type the subnet mask.
